Wildlife Recording Guide goes online!

Wildlife Recording Guide goes online!

After several months of drafting and re-drafting, RECORD has produced a comprehensive Recording Guide to complement the series of Species Identification Training Days organised in conjunction with the Habitats and Hillforts Project.

The Guide to Recording Wildlife* contains help and advice on recording in the field as well as separate Species Guides for:
  • Amphibians
  • Birds
  • Flowering Plants
  • Fungi
  • Invertebrates
  • Mammals
  • Reptiles
  • Trees
The Guide can be downloaded as a pdf file (Adobe Acrobat Reader needed) and can be printed in whole or in part, as required.

This is Version 1 of the Guide (2012) and it is intended to continue to review, update and add to the Guide wherever and whenever possible.[/color]

A link to download the Guide can also be found on the Habitats and Hillforts web pages.

*Update: links to this version removed - see Update post below
