QGIS Plug-In for Biodiversity Recorders:

Richard Burkmar of FSC has written a 'plug-in' for QGIS which addresses many of the needs of biodiversity/biological recorders - The plugin streamlines many of the tasks commonly required from GIS by biological recorders including viewing NBN maps (via the NBN WMS), displaying biological records derived from CSV files, working with OS grid references and registering raster map images from the Internet. - See more at: http://tombio.myspecies.info/QGISTools#sthash.Nt0uIjKv.dpuf

Information on the 'plug-in' can be obtained from: http://tombio.myspecies.info/QGISTools
