Even Better Night In Garden:

Morning All,

97 moths of 35 species last night including NFY Common Swift, 5 Bright-line Brown-eye, Clouded Border, 2 Straw Dots, 2 Foxglove Pugs, Herald, White-spotted Pug, Freyer's Pug, Scorched Wing and a beautiful fresh Lime Hawkmoth (second ever in my garden).

I'm in awe at the way you get those Pugs to stay still on a leaf long enough to take such great photos - how do you do it ?

Hi Paul,

A lot of patience and a spot of super glue. No seriously, sometimes they are quite accommodating and settle straight away, others that are livelier can take longer, I mean a lot longer. It's a case of who gives in first.
Sometimes they win.
