Six-belted Clearwings

Post by SteveH »

Hi folks,

Rupert Adams has informed us that:

"All, an excellent day surveying Ashton's bund (Ashton's Flash, near Northwich) @22c and slight NW wind using the 6BC standard lure.

I surveyed the length of the bund between the 2 locked gates, and then within the clearings created through the wood allotment scheme for 2 minutes per site and found Six-belted Clearwing at every location sampled. I had a minimum of 197 individuals with individual site counts of max. 30."

Cheers,
Steve
