Micro for ID:
???
???
This Micro moth photo was taken in July 2016 on a public footpath in Upton, Chester. Help with ID will be appreciated. Nearest I can get is I think its a Crambidae species.

Hi there,

Certainly a Crambid and probably Agriphila straminella, difficult to judge size however due to the angle of the photo so it might be A.tristella.

Cheers,
Steve

I would agree with Agriphila straminella, although it's difficult to tell from that angle.

Thanks for the help. Looking at my previous photos I agree it is probably Agriphila straminella.
