Before The Deluge ......:
Hi Folks,
Managed a couple of hours on the local patch this morning before sky and land became the same colour .....
Not too much, but singles of Small Yellow Underwing and Nematopogon swammerdamella were good to see, the latter being the first record for the site.
Also several Bactra lancealana - something which ought not by rights to be out yet - but there must have been a dozen or more - thinking now that yesterdays' photo posted is also B.lancealana ......
