Help With ID Please:
Had the best night so far last night but have some queries. Hope we have the first two correct. Third, no idea.
Last thought, it could be Oegoconia species (O.quadripunta ?) but it is too early for it. Mompha subbistrigella another possibility ?
Any help much appreciated.

Hi Helen & Bob,
I don't know how large the squares are on your paper; the antennae don't look ridiculously long however, so if its 10-11mm then you have it right, around the 7-8mm mark and its likely to be N.schwarziellus.
A. cupressella is correct.
Third - pass.
Fourth is a Mompha as you suspect and possibly M.subistrigella too; Steve HH may be able to ID. Oegoconia tend to show much more whitish, creamy-yellowish banding - sometimes as much as there is dark colouration.
Cheers,
Steve

Steve,
Thanks.
Squares are 5mm so N.swammerdamella should be correct. We have had another thought on number three. A dark Scrobipalpa costella ??
