Poplar Kitten ?

Post by shearwater »

Poplar Kitten ?

Hi All,

Things gradually picking up here, though not in large numbers. Two new for garden in the past week are Brown Silver Lines and Puss Moth. Picked the Moth pictured below from the sheet near the trap, I think it's a battered Poplar Kitten (Furcula bifida), another nfg, hope the picture good enough to ID !

Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob,

Yes Poplar Kitten (Furcula bifida), I've not had one in my garden as yet, In fact I've only ever seen one before.

Regards,
Greg
