Ptycholoma lecheana

Ptycholoma lecheana:

Morning Folks,

Its very rare that we trap on consecutive nights, but such was the weather it seemed justified last night. Net result, 90+ moths, 34 species, including Ptycholoma lecheana - new for the garden. Failed miserably to photograph it but just for illustrative purposes have included a shot from my local patch from a few years back.

Other NFY (11 species) included Narrow-winged Pug, Gold Spot, Rustic Shoulder-knot, Small Clouded Brindle and Pyrausta aurata. The years second Pale Tussock was also nice, being about a one-year-in-three species on average.
