A Couple Of Micros For ID / Confirmation

Post by bobhelencoan »

A Couple Of Micros For ID / Confirmation:

Thursday night was dry here until 04.00. A couple of Ruby tigers and a nice Lesser Swallow Prominent. Nearly missed a Dusky Brocade amongst all the Common Rustic aggs !

Two micros we are not certain about:-

1. Argyresthia bonnetella ?
2. Aspilapteryx trigipennella ?

Comments appreciated.

Bob & Helen

Hi Bob & Helen,

I don't think A.tringipennella is that common, though we get it almost every year, its never more than 1-2.

Cheers,
Steve
