6 year old Leo and I attended the trap emptying this morning and we both enjoyed it very much !
It was nice to see 5 Merveille du Jours in a row.

I took a VERY blurred photo of a Phyllonorycter sp. that was in the Marbury MV Robinson trap - I wonder if, from a combination of the markings and the late date, it might be possible to determine this as P. messaniella ?

Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul,

Most likely Phyllonorycter messaniella at this time of year but I can't see enough detail to rule out Phyllonorycter quercifoliella.

Regards,
Steve
