Decent Trap For Late September

Decent Trap For Late September:

Morning All,

These mild nights are keeping the moth numbers up. 55 moths of 22 species in the garden last night. Including a NFY Brown-spot Pinion (first for two years), second gen Riband Wave, 2 Pink-barred Sallows, 2 Black Rustics, 3 Lunar Underwings, 1 Brindled Green, 1 Dusky Thorn and the usual suspects.

The only migrant was this beautiful Silver Y, showing off it's iridescent scales to full effect. (pics below).

Apparently a good number of Delicates have moved into some of the southern counties. Lets hope they make their way up to Cheshire and into our traps.
