4 More NFY:
Morning All,
My first trap in 12 days, not bad considering the low temperature.
10 moths of 7 species. Including NFY Merveille du Jour, Large Wainscot, Yellow-line Quaker, 2 November Moth aggs, also Angle Shades, Blair's Shoulder Knot and 3 Green-brindled Crescents 2 of which were f. capucina. (a few pics below).

Re: 4 More NFY
I almost didn't put the trap out last night, especially as I had work this morning, but I was glad I did - 4 moths of 3 species, but all NFY and one new for the garden.

Re: 4 More NFY
It would appear that the night of 17/10/2017 was a fair night for Large Wainscot, as I also had one. It was not only NFY, but it was only my 5th record in the garden.
Along with 4 November Moth aggs. Merveille du Jour also found adjacent to the trap, and it posed very well for a photograph.
Tachystola acroxantha seem to be reducing in number now, but Phyllonorycter messaniella are regular at present.

No Large Wainscot here yet, or any of those species those photo's are on this post but still plenty of moths, with 48 moths of 17 species last night.
Most common were 9 Yellow-line Quaker; 8 Red-Green Carpet and 5 Feathered Thorn, with single Juniper Carpet; Pine Carpet and Phyllonorycter messaniella.
Regards,
Steve
