First Trap Of The Year

Post by bobhelencoan »

First Trap Of The Year:

Happy New Year everyone.

Having waited 2 weeks for a decent night to put the trap out we were rewarded last night with:

Dark Chestnut - 2
Spring Usher - 2
Mottled Umber - 1
Grey Shoulder-knot - 1
Pale Pinion - 1

Pale Pinion seems early but have photo for confirmation if needed.

Hi Bob & Helen,

Happy New Year.

That was an impressive catch to kick off 2018.

Hi Bob & Helen,

Maybe a touch of warmer weather triggered it out of hibernation ....

Cheers,
Steve
