Moths Again

Post by melbellingham »

Moths Again:

Morning All,

After 6 successive blank GMS nights and a few other unsuccessful nights in between, I again had the trap out for a few hours last night (15/02/2018), in hope rather than expectation.

It proved worthwhile as despite the temperatures dropping off rather quickly, I recorded Oak Beauty Biston strataria and Grey Shoulder-knot Lithophane ornitopus.

Mel.

Hi Mel,

It's good to see someones catching moths at the moment. It's been just over two weeks since my last.
This weekends looking a little milder so worth another go.
