Another Great Night

Post by PaulHopkins »

Another Great Night:

Despite the generally dire weather this Spring, the short periods of good conditions have resulted in good catches in my Bromborough garden. Last night (18/04/2018) was a case in point (min 11.2 deg C):

16 Common Quaker
9 Brindled Pug
6 Double-striped Pug
5 Chestnut
4 Twin-spotted Quaker
4 Early Thorn
3 Hebrew Character
3 Acleris literana
2 Diurnea fagella
1 Beautiful Plume
1 Clouded Drab
1 Common Plume
1 Small Quaker
1 Satellite
1 Acleris ferrugana/notana
1 Dyseriocrania subpurpurella

I couldn't line the A.literanas up for a group portrait, they were away as soon as I tapped them out of the pots.

Cheers,
Paul
