Phyllonorycter ?

Phyllonorycter ?

Hi,

I chased this around the bathroom a couple of days ago, about 4mm long, photographed in artificial light so the colour’s a bit washed out. Looks like a Phyllonorycter, but I see from my book there are about 50 to choose from !

Any ideas on species ?

Cheers,
Tom.

Hi Tom,

Some of the Phyllonorycters can be determined from photos but I don't think that is one of them. To be sure you would need to upload a photo from the side showing the complete wing.

Regards,
Steve
