All Right On The Night:
At last, some action last night although still subdued (as are most insects in the Stockport area). Best three were Pale Prominent, plus the two photographed below - including the always superb Alder Kitten. Also include what was, for me, a garden first from last Saturday - Waved Umber.

Hi Andy,
Waved Umber arrived in my Higher Poynton garden in 2013 and numbers have been increasing each year.
9 individuals in 2018, so this should be a regular Spring moth with you also eventually.
Alder Kitten here on 12/05/2018, although not a species I catch every year.
