Really Picking Up Now

Post by PaulHopkins »

Really Picking Up Now:

A good catch last night: 60 moths of c. 40 species (a few still TBC), including Poplar, Eyed and Lime Hawkmoths, the kids' favourites !

Alder Moth was NFG and seems pretty uncommon for the Wirral.

Cheers,
Paul

Still not having a working trap is starting to be frustrating ...... our garden list currently stands at 25 species for the year whilst in Cheshire I've managed 48 ...... quite some catching up to do !

Train-spotting perhaps ......

Cheers,
Steve
