More micros for confirmation or id

Post by Tim_Ward »

I had 30 different species of micros in my trap on 7 June (as well as over 50 species of macros) and I've spent several days trying to identify them all. Here are a few with which I'd like some help. The first of these looks like Eucosma campoliliana to me. The second might be Donacaula mucronella but I'm rather uncertain about this. I've no idea what the third is. The fourth species was present in numbers in the trap, so I'm keen to identify it.
As always, very appreciative of any help...............Tim

Hi Tim,

I think #2 is one of the many forms of Bactra lancealana. I queried a very similar looking moth here a couple of weeks ago!
