Over the last few weeks we have had a good selection of moths. Would be grateful of any comments about the following. You will be pleased to know not a pug. We had a nicely marked foxglove pug plus 2 we discarded on Saturday night!
Firstly. this little moth was in our bedroom.2 views Is it a Triaxomera parasitella?
We had 3 marbled minor aggs but this one looks as if it could be a tawny minor.
We found a case bearer on hawthorn. When it hatched the moth seems not to have developed correctly. Can it be identified? It expired overnight and we have kept it.
Finally. Two Eudonia mercurella we think.
Any help much appreciated. Bob & Helen

Re: some ID queries
Hi Bob & Helen
The last two are Scoparia ambigualis; the rest would need dissecting.
Regards
Steve

Re: some ID queries updtae
The Coleophora turned out to be Coleophora coracipennella female. It had not emerged successfully. The marbled minor agg was also dissected and was a rufous minor female. The moth found in our bedroom turned out to be a brown dotted clothes moth. A new moth for us but not particularly welcome! Steve has put a lot of time in to dissect so many moths for us. We can't thank him enough. Bob & Helen
