The first is a caddisfly, it looks very like one I had in Cumbria a few weeks ago which I tentatively ID’d as Athripsodes albifrons.

Thanks Paul - had a suspicion myself though it does look similar to one or two micros.

Celypha cespitana is very rare in Cheshire. Suspect this will be another lacunana.

The first one is certainly a Caddisfly and looks very like an Athripsodes. However, I doubt it is Athripsodes albifrons as I can see no signs of a white hair patch on the top of the head.
