Afternoon All,

Having looked at the image in Hancock's Pug book Harry's photo looks a good match for Juniper Pug.
I would be interested to know if anyone agrees or disagrees with my analysis as it is a species I have never seen in the flesh.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your help with 'Juniper Pug'.

Only just got back from a few days break in Scottish the-Northumberland borders. Didn't take trap but saw loads of Chimney Sweeper moths at St Abbs Head N.R. However, couldn't find any Pignut plants.

Hi Brian

It's good to see that you are on our forum.
As far as this Pug is concerned, I sent the picture to Dave Grundy for clarification. He confirmed that it looked
like a Juniper Pug. As for me, a relative novice, I thought that the few markings that were visible matched
with Juniper.

P.S Many thanks for your excellent little book.

Regards
Greg
