Evergestis pallidata:

Morning Folks,

150 moths of 58 species last night and another 10 NFY took us through the 250 species barrier for the year.

Evergestis pallidata was yet another new moth for the garden this year, bringing the total to an incredible TEN !

Evergestis pallidata: Elton - 19th July 2018

Other NFYs included the beautiful Pyrausta aurata, Aspilapteryx tringipennella, Rosy Minor, The Lychnis and Small Phoenix. Most common, by far, at the moment is Common Rustic agg. with about 30-40 per night.

Cheers,
Steve
