Diamond-back Moth:
Hi,
I can't see any other mention of these on the board, but I caught at least one on Wednesday night. Are others not seeing them, or just not reporting them ? I don't normally 'do' micros but are there any confusable species as I saw a couple that looked like Diamond-backs, but seemed rather small. Then I finally saw the one that clinched it and it was certainly bigger (in moth terms).
Thanks,
Andy

Re: Diamond-back Moth
Hi Andy,
Diamond-back is a fairly common and regular migrant which you should catch most years. I've had 24 this year over 16 nights including one last night, which is probably about average. 2016 was the exceptional year when some recorders were catching 100+ per night.
Regards,
Steve
