Morning folks,
a quiet night last night with the two commonest 'yellow underwings' contributing about 80% of the total catch of 54 moths of 11 species. Some interesting 'late' individuals - two Small Blood Veins and our latest ever Heart & Dart - they are usually done and dusted by early August with odd times as late as the third week. A Turnip and three Silver Y's completed the interest,
Cheers,
Steve
Latest ever Heart & Dart
Re: Latest ever Heart & Dart
Heart & Dart here also last night, my seventh second brood specimen this year.
Not dug up any Turnips in the garden yet this year.
Had this small Endothenia quadrimaculana earlier in the month. Regards
