A few photos from Mow Cop on 25/6/2018.
First a habitat shot.
This was a warm, sheltered and rather productive spot. The bilberry produced Bilberry Pug, Northern Spinach and Apotomis sauciana.
Epinotia demarniana and Capua vulgana off the birch
and across the path, not in the photo, V-Pug and two Bramble Shoot Moths Notocelia uddmanniana.
I also found both Elachista luticomella and Elachista albifrontella nearby
Other species of interest found at the site during the afternoon included Micropterix aruncella; Caloptilia alchimiella; Glyphipterix thrasonella; Argyresthia trifasciata; Argyresthia brockeella; Argyresthia retinella; Argyresthia conjugella; Borkhausenia fuscescens; Coleophora trifolii; Coleophora glaucicolella; Coleophora alticolella; Aphelia paleana; Aphelia viburnana; Clepsis consimilana; Cnephasia incertana; Orthotaenia undulana; Bactra lancealana; Epinotia fraternana; Eucosma cana; Dichrorampha montanana; Cydia ulicetana; Yellow Shell; Barred Straw; Straw Dot, as well as numerous leaf mines.
