A few photos from Mow Cop on 25/6/2018.

This was a warm, sheltered and rather productive spot. The bilberry produced Bilberry Pug, Northern Spinach and Apotomis sauciana.

and across the path, not in the photo, V-Pug and two Bramble Shoot Moths Notocelia uddmanniana.

I also found both Elachista luticomella and Elachista albifrontella nearby

Other species of interest found at the site during the afternoon included Micropterix aruncella; Caloptilia alchimiella; Glyphipterix thrasonella; Argyresthia trifasciata; Argyresthia brockeella; Argyresthia retinella; Argyresthia conjugella; Borkhausenia fuscescens; Coleophora trifolii; Coleophora glaucicolella; Coleophora alticolella; Aphelia paleana; Aphelia viburnana; Clepsis consimilana; Cnephasia incertana; Orthotaenia undulana; Bactra lancealana; Epinotia fraternana; Eucosma cana; Dichrorampha montanana; Cydia ulicetana; Yellow Shell; Barred Straw; Straw Dot, as well as numerous leaf mines.
