Twenty species up here is exceptional in November. The list included a good selection of micro's.

Very productive in the hills too, with a fine drizzle in mild conditions - 50 moths of 14 species, including one micro:

December Moth 15
Feathered Thorn 2
Scarce Umber 1
Angle Shades 1
Acleris sparsana 1
November Moth agg 2
Winter Moth 5
Red-green Carpet 9
Autumn Green Carpet 1
Mottled Umber 1
Satellite 1
Yellow-line Quaker 6
Chestnut 1
Northern Winter Moth 4

The December moth attachment shows the larger size of the females, which I hadn't really appreciated before.

Hi Julian

Some folks don't trap if it is raining but fine drizzle can often be very productive.
Good numbers of December Moth and you will be the only one of us to regularly catch Autumn Green Carpet, which has retreated from the rest of Cheshire.
