Would appreciate any help re identification of the moth below please, I caught this at home in Upton-by-Chester on 16 October.

Hi Roger
Looks to be resting like a Caloptilia, so how about Gracillaria syringella ?
Regards
Steve

Thanks as always Steve. I got so stuck on that moth. Although I am familiar with Gracillaria syringella I hadn't expected one this late in the year. That one was very worn, reminded me more of a Blastobasis and set me off on the wrong path. Thanks again Steve.
