Hi,

I need to try and do more on the micro front, but that means almost starting from scratch. Please can someone have a look at this specimen caught on Thursday night. I was only drawn back to it (it was at large in my living room) after reading the oak nycteoline threads.

Cheers,

Andy

It's Oak Nycteoline, Andy
A very variable species but easily recognized by the long snout

Thanks Steve, and thanks to this forum as I would not have attempted to re-trap the moth if I hadn't had my attention sharpened by the reports (and photos) from others. As you will have guessed, this was a new garden record for me.

Cheers,

Andy B.
