'Early-ish' Lychnis and 6 other NFY

Post by melbellingham »

I don't record Lychnis every year in my garden, but when I do it is from about the 3rd week in May, so last night (22/04/2019) I recorded my earliest individual.

21 species trapped last night, including 5 species of Pug Moths.

21 species in a single night is just rubbing salt into a wound that is already the width of the Dee Estuary...

11 species THIS YEAR so far... kinda sucks!

Cheers,
Steve
