Caloptilia sp Thurstaston Jan 03rd 2013 P1030230.jpg
Hi all
Whilst its quiet on the moth front i have been looking at my backlog of unidentified moths. This Caloptila recorde at Thurstaston back on January 3rd 2013.The very similar Caloptilia betulicola or elongella seem to fit the bill.Confirmation would be appreciated.
Cheers Harry

Hi Harry
Confirmation is not possible from a photo, you need to find the larval mines or dissect the adults.
Record it as Micro sp. with Caloptilia elongella/betulicolla in the comments field.
Regards
Steve
