Dark Arches (Apamea monoglypha) ?

Hello, just a quickee for our experts, had a Dark Arches (Apamea monoglypha) last night to the trap - very pale 'washed out' specimen, is it a bit early?

If so, what is it?!!

Hi there,

A lot of species are being recorded early this year so its nothing to be overly concerned about. I have been recording Dark Arches for about two weeks now, so they are for sure on the wing.

Last night (10th June 2011) I had my first Dark Arches (Apamea monoglypha) of the year - pristine specimen.

Another Dark Arches last night (13th June), but this one was quite tattered, so either it had been on the wing for a while or had a rough night down the pub. I suspect the former.
