Hi all

Whenever you find a moth in the field and are not sure which species it could be, always look to see which foodplants are nearby. I found a couple of Epiblema cirsiana yesterday, sat on black knapweeds. Without noting the foodplant, their ID's would have been difficult.

I also had a few Dichrorampha alpinana amongst Ox-eye Daisy. Had I not noted the foodplant, or caught it in the trap, I would not have been able to separate it from Dichrorampha flavidorsana without dissecting it.
