Hi folks,
Was out on my patch again yesterday and actually managed to walk around almost without wellies - but there are still some areas where the flood waters from last week remain a foot or so deep!
Anyway, I had a half decent list of moths that inluded the locally unusual Yellow Shell, double-figure Nemophora degereella, Epinotia nisella and a very nice larva of Paraswammerdamia nebulella, just the third local record. 57 species on Gowy Meadows so far this year so its going quite well; will improve markedly over the next month hopefully when we have one or two light trapping sessions planned.
Cheers,
Steve
