There's always one.

Easily the best night for months last night with 26 species, inc scarce silver-lines, figure of 80, dusky brocade and plain golden 'Y'. I say 26, but I've yet to identify this one. Yes, it's a micro again. I think that I see a couple of distinguishing features, look in the book, and fail to find it. That's the story of micros for me so far. Oh, I did recognise 3 diamond backs!!! Name of this one please.

Cheers,

Andy B.

Thanks Paul. I'll go for that. I do feel a little ashamed as UKMoths describes it as 'easy to identify'.

Cheers,

Andy

Hi folks,

yes, it's pinguis OK.

As to the 'easy to identify' tag - the next one will be :-)

Cheers,
