Ypsolopha nemorella and others...

Post by SteveH »

Hi folks,

Unusually for me I trapped on both the last two nights and it was a case last night of less moths but more species than the previous night; 203 moths of 49 species, with a surprsing eight NFY (Ypsolophas nemorella and scabrella, Borkhausenia fuscescens, Cochylis atricapitana, Acleris forsskaleana, Mouse Moth, Cloaked Minor and Gold Spot!) In terms of rare for us, the Ysolopha nemorella takes the prize, being just our second ever and almost 10 years to the day since the first.

Cheers,
Steve
