New moth for us

Post by bobhelencoan »

First meal moth. As we have stables just down the road from us and we also get large tabby probably not unexpected.
For the record images of two other micros
Parornix species probably anglicella and Caloptilia robustella/ alchimiella agg, probably robustella.

I dissected a couple of Caloptilia robustella/ alchimiella agg. from the trap recently, one was dead in the trap, the other looked like Caloptilia alchimiella, which I've not had here for years but both were female Caloptilia robustella.
