'Not another', I hear you experts cry. Sorry, but this one escapes me (or it doesn't as it died mid-morning), so I'm hoping that for all of its worn appearance, the very dark fringe to the underwings might give something away to those with experience of whatever the species is. I would be very glad if it is something good as its been a bit dull recently. It was quite small (about the size of a twin-spot carpet).

Your moth looks like a Female Small China Mark the underwing is not shown in the book
but is similar to the Male which is shown.
