... not from my trap, but basking on a leaf in the garden this chilly morning...

Wait for confirmation from Steve HH but it has at least a chance of being Psychoides filicivora.

Great, thanks Steve .... looks like quite a good match for what it's worth.
If it helps, I've lots of ferns and such-like in the garden...

Yes I would agree with Psychoides filicivora.
The first record from the Cheshire portion of SJ79.
