more rain of biblical proportions overnight didn't deter 71 moths of 22 species coming to seek shelter in the trap last night.
Nothing new for the year but our latest ever Light Emerald was notable, two weeks later than the previous record holder. Quite a nice selection all told, including: Brimstone, Dusky Thorn, Orange Swift, three Silver Ys, Angle Shades and Rusty Dot Pearl. One odd-ball micro had me scratching my head for a long time but I settled on it being a dark Lyonetia clerkella in the end.
