Not done much trapping recently but...

Post by SteveH »

Hi folks,

... I have managed some leaf-mining.

Yesterday (10th October) I managed to add Phyllonorycter rajella and earlier in the month Phyllonorycter schreberella and Stigmella ulmivora.

Quite a disappointment yesterday in truth as the two most interesting mines I found both had me scratching my head - turns out they were a fly (Aulagromyza populicola) and a sawfly (Profenusa dohrnii) - but both new species for Gowy Meadows so can't grumble too much!

Cheers,
Steve
