Third Macro and First Micro for the Year

Post by melbellingham »

Reasonable temperatures on the nights of 05/01 and 06/01 failed to produce any moths but last night (07/01/2020) with very good temperatures for this time of the year, I did record 2 species.

At 2300hrs the temperature was still above 12 deg. C, but I had no moths in the trap or nearby.

This morning the temperature was 9.1 deg. C, and I found Spring Usher on the wall, and Carpatolechia decorella in the trap.
