Re: Shoulder Stripe NFY
Great photo as ever Greg.
I'm amazed how many moths you're getting in your trap. Is this typical you at this time of year?
I so often just get a blank, or as said before, the odd Hebrew Character.
I guess, like many things, it's location, location, location.
Keep the photos coming. They're very heartening and encouraging in these times
Cheers

Re: Shoulder Stripe NFY
Hi Nev,
I suppose I'm quite lucky here as it's semi-rural around Davenham and my garden backs
onto open fields, not for much longer I guess, as it seems new housing estates are
springing up on every bit of available land recently.
Thanks for your comments regarding the photos. We were due to go to Normandy
in June with my traps, which is looking doubtful now, so I will miss out on many
new species which I was hopeful of. Last time a couple of years ago I trapped quite
a few beautiful species there, some of which are quite rare or immigrant only in the UK.
During this difficult time while we are all self isolating at home, I'll post a few of these
photos, which might be of interest.
Stay Safe Everyone.
