Hi all,
A much better night with 25 moths of 16 species including a NFG Cinnabar. However, I've got several which I'm not sure on.
Photo A - Tinea trinotella?
Photo B - Pug 20mm
Photo C - Small Rivulet ? Sorry about the photo.
Photo D - Clouded-Bordered Brindle?
Thanks in advance,
Alex

Re: Better night + ID help needed
Tinea trinotella and Clouded-Bordered Brindle are both correct but I'll pass on your Small Rivulet and pug.

Hi Alex.
I'd say your photo C. is a Rivulet which is larger with one or sometimes a second much smaller indentation on inner edge of cross band. Also has an earlier flight time May-June
The Small Rivulet has two equal sized indentations on inner edge of cross band which is closer to trailing edge,
flight time June-Aug
The Pug looks like a worn Oak-tree Pug.
Photos of both Rivulets with close ups of indentations for comparison below.

Greg
