The case bearer found on blackthorn; image posted on forum; has hatched. Image below. Does this enable it to be identified as coleophora spinella?
Also have a parnorix species probably anglicella and another coleophora species. Images below. Are they worth dissecting?
Advice appreciated. Bob & Helen

Hi Helen & Bob
Sadly all these would need dissecting for a positive identification.
Having already dissected both Coleophora coracipennella & Coleophora spinella previously from your garden, as well as Parornix anglicella, I'm not sure what could be gained by dissecting the first two, however your last photo, the pale Coleophora looks like one of the Coleophora caespititiella/alticolella pair, neither of which I have checked before from your site, so if you want to save that one for me, I'll have a go at it in the autumn for you.
Regards
Steve
