ID Help please

Post by A_Neal »

Hi all,

Some more moths which I’m not sure on. Sorry about the amount of photos but I’ve never seen the moths which I’ve been catching at this time of year before. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Alex

The moth in the last picture looks to me like Hedya nubiferana (Marbled Orchard Tortrix).

It's got the characteristic two black dots that are lying directly underneath the curve of the dark area that extends from the head down to beyond the middle of the wing.

I’d agree with that Dave. Thanks for the advice and it matches a photo I’ve just looked at. :D
