Chelostoma florisomne:

Found in April 2014 at LWS- Toms Paddock, near Raby, Wirral. Confirmed and verified from voucher by Carl Clee.
Chelostoma florisomne, is a new species record for Cheshire. As it frequents buttercup flowers, there must be more of them around. Something to look for next year! However, the one I caught was feeding on Hawthorn flowers at the edge of a meadow filled with buttercups.
