Wildlife Exchange Session - Weds 30th May 2018:

Join us on the 30th May 2018 as we welcome local RSPB group leader Roger Nutter. Staggeringly, Common Swift (Apus apus) numbers have halved in the UK over the last twenty years, this once common summer migrant is rapidly becoming a rare sight. Roger will take us through the work he and members of the Chester RSPB group have undertaken to identify areas of decline and the practical steps we can all take to stop the decline of this treasured summer visitor.

These evenings will provide an opportunity for wildlife recorders, conservationists and anyone with an interest in local wildlife to get together in a relaxed environment and find out about our natural environment and how it is changing. The ‘exchange’ sessions will also allow sharing of ideas, knowledge, experience and views on Cheshire’s natural history and how we can monitor and conserve it.

Tea/coffee and snacks will be provided.

Venue: Mottershead Suite, Cedar House, Chester Zoo, Caughall Road, Upton, Chester
From 7pm to 9pm
